We began the renovating on Monday April 14th.  After three days of steady working here is our progress. Some of the ceiling had to come down but once it was all cleaned up it looked much better. The house is divided in half...with the middle wall a "load bearing wall" so it has to stay in place. We were able to take out the other walls and they will be added back in different places to create the floor plan I want.

we got the posts and pail for the well up today...ran a little wire up the posts for the clematis to climb up!! We removed the front chain link fence, but we still have some chain link posts up..that will be another day. :)

Some before pictures. My husband's grandparents house built in the late 1930's. A room was added on the back, shingle roof put on, and vinyl siding in the last 15 years.
